1. Clean Your Dentures Every Day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You probably already know how important it is to brush your teeth on a daily basis, so it should be no surprise that your dentures also need to be cleaned regularly. However, you shouldn\u2019t use toothpaste to do the job, as it\u2019s too abrasive and could easily end up damaging your prosthesis. Instead, you can brush your dentures with a soft-bristled toothbrush and a specialized denture cleanser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Rinse Your Dentures Whenever You\u2019re Done Eating<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every time you finish a meal, you should head over to the nearest available sink and rinse off your dentures. This is to get rid of food particles and bacteria before they can lead to any major problems. Furthermore, rinsing your dentures regularly can help you avoid staining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Be Gentle with Your Dentures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

However, constantly wearing your prosthesis can irritate your gums, accelerate bone loss, and increase your risk for pneumonia. It\u2019s therefore better for your oral and overall health to take your dentures out at night just before you go to bed.
